The Killer Ninja Stick Men From Pluto (KNSMFP) are a group of stick men that live on the planet Pluto. One of these stick men has decided to reveal the secret art of Ninja Stickdom to our world, saving Earth at its most needy hour. As a result, the KNSMFP gets himself into some interesting situations, leading to some very silly jokes and some very poor stick drawings! This 22nd anniversary edition features all the web comics plus radio play scripts so you can perform the stories if you have an unusual amount of spare time. Comics include classic tales such as the KNSMFP Vs the Coke Machine, KNSMFP descends into Hell for a bottle of Milk and KNSMFP the Time Travel Saga. Here’s what the critics have said about the Killer Ninja Stick Men From Pluto: "Oh dear." (Brad W.) "Unique. Yeah, definitely unique." (Ryan H.) "What the...?" (Jarred B.) "I deny ever meeting the creator of this comic." (Tim N.) "You're not seriously going to put this on the web, are you?" (Scott L.V.) "Uh-oh." (Alan G.) "This is very...er...different" (Talay H.) "This is the best comic ever! Can I have my pocket money now Dad?" (Sharlini H.)www.ninjastickmen.com

About the Author

In the early 2000s after the last comic was put online, the ninjastickmen.com website described Scott Hollier like this: "Scott Hollier comes from Perth, Western Australia and is currently studying towards a PhD in Internet Studies at Curtin University. His thesis topic is the Social and Educational Impact of Internet-related Technologies on People with Disabilities. Scott's hobbies include catching up with friends, listening to music, playing the flute, collecting old home computers from the 1980s and, of course, drawing stick people." Since then, Scott completed his PhD and has become a university lecturer, researcher and digital access specialist in his continuing efforts to support people with disabilities. For more information on Scott's life you can read his 2016 memoir Outrunning the Night - a life journey of disability, determination and joy. While Scott's life is a little more serious these days as a husband and father of two children, he has never forgotten his roots - or the path to ninja stickdom.

5.0 out of 5 stars Arguably the first “popular” webcomic ever!

The year is 1995. One of your parents has a PPP dial-up login for work. You are the only person in your community with Internet access. You search for “comics” in AltaVista and this is the first result. You actually laugh at the terrible jokes because Netscape’s slow image load rate creates unintended suspense (and you’re 10). This will forever be your first memory of the Internet…

There is no denying that KNSMFP is primitive, incredibly so, but if you were there at the birth of the web this book triggers a ridiculously strong nostalgia. It’s clearly not for everyone, and you shouldn’t expect this to win an Eisner, but I am overjoyed that this part of the WWW’s ancient history is finally being preserved in book form.
